I needed one disk (because only one student gave me a disk to burn - so my son was kind enough to help me. The student had given me a disk that wasn't empty, so we couldn't burn it. So we skyped to my other son and he suggested putting it on a disk-on-key and see if they would help me at school. The teacher in charge of the etgar/mabar students told me that there's a man who burns the disks for her at school. Wow, that took a load off. Once you get the first copy - he'll run them off no problem. But, the students won't/didn't bring a diskman. And the one girl who did bring me a disk - was absent! Oh, well. I still think this is not a job for us English teachers - and the Ministry should provide disks and/or a techie person to burn them. Or isn't there a better way - on-line testing - MP3 use or something? With so many students with accommodations - there needs to be a better solution.
