I already do not give oral or mutam exams where not "relevant" but in our school cd prep takes no time (secretaries do the copies and the teacher in charge of making the test makes one cd) and most kids that don't really benefit don't use it ( sometimes those who would benefit don't use it either) As for Israel being at the top for hatamot- maybe if there were fewer students they would be able to learn and focus better. A much better use of money than hatamot committees would be smaller classes! Anyway- I believe projects are a helpful learning tool but should be used by teachers who do them willingly and properly. By the way- there is nothing on the forms I have seen that relate to a student's effort or attendance! Hope we all wage war here on whatever is near and dear to us. Enough is enough!!!
