I teach them the sentence "It was the best / worst **** I have ever seen", or "of my life" Then you fill in day / party / trip etc. Teach them 6 - 8 adjectives that can fit almost any situation (beautiful, fun, happy, etc). 2-3 adjectives for a place. 2-3 for an experience (party, trip). Tell them to make use of the suggestions on the list. You get a standard description, and just adapt it. This has nothing to do with English, it is totally exam taking techniques.
