How would you explain why these are mistakes?
1. In this poem has 2 stanzas.
If you're translating from Hebrew, there is / there are and have/has have
the same meaning. How do I explain when to use each one?

2. I like to smile to people.
Is there a rule for *to *vs. *at*, or they just learn the phrases?

3. She understood that everybody need to do good deeds *for* other people
*for *improve the society.
For and to are both ל in Hebrew. There were tons of mistakes on my last
test confusing for and to. What's the best way to explain when to use each?

Thanks so much!
