[etni] I don't like what I'm seeing.

I feel sorry for Ariella Kopels and all others past, present, and future who
feel attacked for stating their opinion on this forum. Personally I am sick and
tired of it. I know teachers who will no longer post here because they cant
stand the 'attitude' they get because they have written a point of view that
may be contrary to the mainstream. This has been going on for ages and it
really makes me angry. Re: Ariella's student voicing his opinion, I say: bravo!
At least he cared enough to say something above and beyond the requirements of
the program. Areilla, don't feel you have to defend your student's point of
view - the hours we get to teach, the class cancellations. If others on this
forum cant deal with the truth, I most respectfully say: "too bad." I for one,
welcome hearing what's really going on in our classrooms.
