Oh mercy me. How absolutely horrid! I think it's just awful the way our childhood treasures are being altered like that. Do I dare imagine what dreadful fate will befall Enid Blyton's series "Mallory Towers" which instilled in me at a certain tender age, a longing to be in a boarding school having awful fun and secret midnight feasts, and playing lacrosse (what's lacrosse?)
