Dear ETNIers,
I am surprised to see that there have been no responses to the Moed Bet tests
that were held yesterday. I found them to be far fairer than the Moed Aleph,
not that there weren't tricky questions - there were a few (I combed C,D,E,F
and G) but , on the whole, after sitting with the kids coming out (which I was
able to do since there were no oral tests to keep me occupied) I am sure that
they did much better than on their first time around. I still think there are
points which need to be worked on, which tested intelligence and reasoning
rather than reading comprehension, but on the whole, the testees in my school
left happily for the summer vacation (as compared with leaving in tears after
Moed Aleph). Let's hope this modular system keeps improving, and working out
the glitches, as Michele wrote earlier.
