Hi to all
I have a question regarding the "block letters" on the envelope in Mr.
Know-all. : Are my answers reasonable?
1. The year this story was written, cursive was the norm
and block writing was slowly beginning to emerge. Mostly women during that
time had time to master the craft - so from this we can infer Mrs. Ramsey
delivered the envelope.
2. The reason for the block writing is to ensure that the
intended person will receive the letter.
