Mr. Asa-els' is a total idiot.before one makes remarks like he did,he should have done a little research first and I mean a little research before going to print.He should have spent 1 day with my wife& she only spends 22 hours a week in front of the class& 122hours (a slight exaggeration on my part )but she works till 10/11 PM every evening,preparing lessons ,marking books ,answering e mail and what not.I think that the spouses of teachers should get involved in the strike.By the way my wife is not on strike but is working to rule .She will only teach her class.Hang in there teachers & maybe one day there will only be 1 teachers union because united you stand divided you fall& thats what the government is banking on.PLEASE DONT GIVE UP. A lot of other teachers are depending on you to succeed because their union is useless and they dont have the courage to move .For those of you who understand Afrikaans VASBYT MENSE.
