Hello all,

I am usually a lurker and rarely write to ETNI. However, I felt I had
to react here. Jimmy and many others have expressed their feelings
about the HOTS course and have presented the new literature program in
a very negative way. I have to disagree with you.

I took the online course with Adele on the Highlearn platform. The
course was one of the best courses I have taken in many years. It was
extremely well planned and feedback was given extensively making it
all very clear. I learned a lot from the course, in fact I look
forward to start implementing the HOTS program next year.

One of the requirements for the final portfolio was to develop a unit
plan and implement it in class, reflecting on the process we went
through. I developed a unit on the play "The Miracle Worker" and I
must say both the students and I enjoyed the play and the work I
planned for it.
Teaching this play while implementing the HOTS was a very pleasant and
successful experience.

As you can see there are teachers who support the program and as Adele
said in her message there are many others out there who just don't
feel like being "attacked" or do not speak up because of the Irgun.
