I worked this year as an examiner for the oral bagrut in 3 schools (as I do each year.) I remember reading on the forms that were sent that we have to apply for a 'tium mas" BEFORE we get paid otherwise the ministry won't deal with it. As I had no idea how much I was going to get paid for the work at the time, I didn't apply for one and consequently a lot of money was taken off in income tax. My question is; Is it actually legal for an employer to refuse to deal with this, if the "tium" wasn't handed in before payment was made? Cheers David Graniewitz Jerusalem
