Adele is right about the place projects and literature take in the workload. Wrong about the compensation angle. The posting was not about the curriculum - it was about the pay teachers take home for implementing it. It was about the fact that while ALL teachers are certainly underpaid, the English teachers are underpaid more heavily than the rest of them. So there's no need to bite your tongue nor elbow nor the foot you may occasionally find in your mouth. What is necessary is to get a real leadership that would fight for your rights. As long as you guys let the MOE get away with what they do to you and your salaries, the MOE will keep doing it.
