Hi All, Between demos...here's another thought of what to do. Sort through your bookshelves. If you have any titles that might be suitable for Bedouin school libraries, please let me know. You can bring them to me at ETAI in Beersheva in Dec. or to the Jacob's Ladder Winter Weekend in the north. Or I'll find another way to collect them. Know that the majority of Bedouin schools have no viable way of implementing the Extensive Reading program as there are no EFL libraries in the schools, towns and villages. And know I'm "working out on the road" today...Road 40 that is, at the intersection leading to Midreshet Ben Gurion. Will be out there this afternoon (Tues.) from 3:30 - 5 PM with teachers from the High School for Environmental Studies, Yeruham and Mizpe Ramon. Yesterday, feeling frustrated about apathetic teachers here, I announced I was going out to the main road at 3 PM and whoever wanted to join was welcome. This morning I had a bunch of teachers in the teachers' room making posters with me! And YES, I'll have my guitar with me. Singing for education!
