Subject: history in English II

Whereas I don't think that students who are learning History should be taught in any language other than their native language, I do feel that we can utilize English lessons to broaden student's horizons and bring topics such as History, Psychology, etc. into the classroom. Keep in mind that Israeli students do not study any general history in high school (unless it is their major) and we can help to bridge the gap during English hours. Whenever we teach Literature, we can make sure to bring articles (or have the students do research) on relevant historical
background.
