Subject: one more thought about the bagrut

Hi everyone,
I carefully read all that is being said here on the net since
January16th... and mostly I agree with everything's that is being said (besides maybe about the 2 versions which I thought was pretty clear that it's reappearing)
I want to raise another issue.. The listening comprehension on the radio...
I truly don't understand why after so many years (and I still remember my English teacher looking frantically for tapes on the day of my English bagrut back in the early 80's) we still have to be so worried for not finding Reshet Gimel or Aleph as it always happens in one of my classes when one of the many local stations disturb that exact channel - I was wondering why if we are trusted to test our students orally (by another teacher of course) and give the correct tapes to the LD students and other responsibilities that we so well do - why are we not trusted to give the listening comprehension from a tape (which comes to our school anyhow) where
the quality will be much better and no stress involved... I really think that it is high time we move forward from this really ancient way of transmiting the listening or maybe I'm missing something really important here??
