Topics * Cognitive remedial teaching in the classroom * HELP (Hyperactivity, education, language and pedagogy) * Teaching reading at the beginning and later stages * Psychology of reading * Assistive technology * Diagnosis and evaluation * Differentiated instruction Diagnostic Evaluation (Tuesdays 10:00-17:00) This program is recommended for certified English teachers with a minimum of five years of experience in the field. Candidates must also be proficient in Hebrew. The goal of this program is to certify teachers as diagnostic evaluators in English. Topics * Special education * Remedial teaching * Basics of diagnostic evaluations * Diagnostic evaluations in English * Reflection and writing evaluations Upon completion of each of the above programs, graduates will receive a diploma from Talpiot College in Tel Aviv. The Diagnostic evaluation course is in the final process of receiving certification from the Ministry of Education.
