So far, we've heard 3 different versions of an answer to the question that was posted about sabbaticals, and I have a fourth! Doesn't this suggest that we need clarification? If your'e a member, I'd suggest calling the teachers' union as the first step after making a decision to take a shabbaton (assuming eligibility) and ask them to outline the steps in the process; I figure that I pay handsomely for this service! BTW, even if you have a perfect memory, don't assume that the situation is exactly the same as it was the last time you took a sabbatical ...
