we also have only 4 hrs/wk. (we might get 5 hrs in 11th grade next year....)
what we did (for the 5 pt kids) is -
in 11th grade, do ONLY lit. nothing else all year. we finished the logs
this year (11th grade) - with a lot of pressure, but it is doable.

next year - 12th grade - we will start with a project. and work on a (oldF)
G level all year. winter - they will do E. march - the oral. summer - G.

the idea is that we will not really have to "prepare" them for E, because
of all the lit they did in 11th grade. other schools have done this.

but i agree - we really need 5 hrs/wk in all the grades.
   good luck
