I am one of those teachers who has been teaching lit all the years. I have
always tested my students and the questions have been similar to the post
reading activities. However, three years ago I changed schools. There,
lit had not been taught and 4 hours a week of English sufficed to finish
the unseens, writing and project. Now we are doing the logs, but
unfortunately, the powers that be think that we are magicians and can add
the entire lit program without additional teaching hours.
Has anyone succeeded in preparing students for E, the log, the project and
G with only 4 hours per week?
I'd love to hear suggestions as we are expected to do most of the log work
in class.
