I assume by "magen" grade you mean Tziun bet sifri - school grade - (that is sent to the ministry). (The final bagrut grade for a particular module is made up 50% bagrut exam; and 50% school grade - used to be called "magen")

Your calculations are not in accordance with the ministry guidelines.
The grade for lit, BR, project should be 30% of the school grade . The 70% should include class work etc and also the matconet grade according to criteria you decide on. Then you add (weight 30%) the appropriate grade for lit/BR/project and get the final school grade. This is the grade that is submitted. You can if you wish use this grade as the report card grade as well, or use some other formula.

i need help/advice. what we have done up until now in our school is 30% lit.BR or project and 70% the rest. that's the school grade for the report card. then we change that into 70% and add the matkonet for 30% and the result is the magen grade. it sounds ok to me, but any comments?
thanks, sandy
