For years I avoided teaching English.  I was turned off by the system and rules 
I saw in the elementary schools.  Baruch Hashem, when after over 25 years in 
the country and 15 teaching "sport," I was desparate for a job, any job, and 
offered one in teaching, it was high school.  And best of all, I was given a 
free hand.
