The matriculation exams have never been valid or reliable!  How many times
have we seen students getting  20+ points lower than their usual grades in
the summer and then, around 6 weeks later, in Moed Bet, getting very high
grades???  Perhaps, as I  wrote to Sara, these students had studied day and
night and improved significantly??? (ha ha ha).... What does that say about
the exams?   Another pet peeve, of which I have written on ETNI, is the
ridiculous "magen" grade, but I won't get into that now.....
 The big question is, what is going to be done about it?
