[etni] replying to messages on the ETNI list

Hi all,
When you reply to a message that has appeared on the ETNI list, make
sure your reply is going where you want it to go (look at the email
address on the To: line in your reply).
At the worst, an intimate and very private message may go to the whole
ETNI list for 1,700 people to see. I usually catch such things, but
things have been so hectic lately on my side of the world that such
messages could easily slip through in the future.
And, when catching such messages, I have usually taken the time in the
past to edit out what shouldn't be there (sometimes the whole ETNI
digest), and forward it on to the person it is really meant to go to.
I can't promise to do this any longer. So if you have clicked on reply
without thinking, and sent a message expecting it to magically arrive
at a friend's address, although it is not their email address that
appears in the To: line - such expectations will no longer be
realized.
And for those of you receiving the digest. Some of you consistently
send a message to the list by clicking reply on the digest that you
receive and including the whole digest in your reply. I won't mention
any names, although it has been a long and difficult day and I really
want to.
So, please, for your sake and my own sanity, put some thought into this.
