Please - if anyone can help I will be very grateful!

I am looking for the scripts of two plays (or any other information
about them) -

The first is based on the book "Eva" by Meyer Levin, from 1959. It is
about the life of Eva Loew (maybe Loewe?), who escaped from Europe, I
think to Palestine. I don't know if the play was ever produced
professonally. It was put on by amateur Hadassah theater groups at
JCCs (Jewish Comunity Centers) in America.

The second play is probably called "Aliza in (Hadassah) Wonderland".
It is a children's play, about a young girl named Aliza who is trying
to get to Israel after WWII. As far as I remember, there is no mention
of the Holocaust in the play, just her hard journey to Israel.

If you don't have the scripts, but have any other information -
programs, newspaper articles etc. - that will also help.

Both of the plays were put on at the Holyoke, MA, JCC. My mother
played Eva in 1959, and i was in the Aliza play, twice. (1959 and
1961, as far as I remember.)

I need this for a seminar paper I am writing for my MA, and any
information you can give me would be very, very helpful!

I am sending this email to a few lists, and also to some people "of my
generation" who might remember something about the plays - so I
apologize in advance if some of you receive it twice.

Again, Thank you!
