[etni] translation teachers - question re "false friends"

I have a text (in Hebrew) that was written by Miriam Shlesinger
called "Targil beyidedai kazav". It has 3 short paragraphs with many
"false friends" and i have used it very successfully in the past.
But this year it seems that there is too much of a generation gap. My
students do not know what the following are when used in Hebrew :
journalim (magazines), service (china dinner set), fighter (brave
person), adam solidi (a down-to-earth person), artist (con-man)
and many more.
does anyone have an updated text that can be used with today's youth
to teach this concept?
