JD, I'm not an expert, but what I think they will tell you is that this is due to map inaccuracy. For example, I can never get to my address using the GPS, it just won't happen. The closest I can get is within two blocks, and I believe this is true for most addresses . Whether it is due to mapping, or to file compression, I don't know. However, if you mark a place as a point of interest, it is very accurate. So, when I want to go home, I have marked that spot and it's never a problem getting here, even if there were no landmarks to use. However, when I get here if I check to see what address I'm at, it will not be correct.
I believe that it is difficult to find a new location if you look up the address, but once you find it, you can always get back to that point with great accuracy.

Hello GPS Listers: I am having an accuracy problem and wanted to know if it is unusual. I am using the latest GPS software on a BN also with the latest software.I most all the time in my area of Central Florida, USA, find my GPS identified location 100 to 350 feet from my real location. It would sure be nice if I within the range that the unit states I am in. The HOLUX is working fine. The BN usually finds a good signal.
