Peggy,
You can use the type I compact flash card in either the compact flash slot
or the PCMCI slot with the adaptor.  The type II Compact Flash cards are a
little thicker and require a 5 volt supply, which is not provided with the
mPower.  The type II will function with the PK and this is the type of 8 GB
card that Sendero supplies for the 8 GB configuration for the PK.

So if you use the type I kind, does that mean you can't put it in an adapter

and put it in the side slot?
