Well when I got the n-82, they offered apackage and I can't remember what it cost, but it contained talks and some other stuff and Wayfinder all in a bundle. It cost less than Code Factory's program and I already had talks on my 6620 so there wouldn't be a learning curb there.

If it hadn't come with it, likely I wouldn't have paid much attention to it.
Quite honestly I have never used it in a car or any such thing because I have the Sendero product.

Mary Ellen:

How did you get Wayfinder on your N82. I was told after I bought it that it
was not compatible with the N82.

Make sure your cell phone's bluetooth is off. My Holux went
bananas when I had been fooling around with wayfinder which came
on my N-82 and at first, I thought that was the cause of this
constant reconnect disconnect problem but with mine there is
something else going on here.

Thanks, Next time I am out I will move my cell phone from my left
front pocket where it is bumping against the back of my mPower.
There might be some interference there.

Remember you are talking about the connection to the m power to
the receiver
thus there is no connection to the surrounding area, buildings
etc.
Now I am finding with my voice sense and the latest haloux 1000
that if I
have the voice sense to close to my pda phone it will dis connect
and re
connect.

Not only is it random but it is every few steps. The thing is
talking
constantly telling me that it either is not connected or that it
is.

Does it happen to disconnect in the same area each time or is it
random?

I had the older Holux receiver and was having a problem with the
mPower staying connected to it while walking. It worked well
while on
the bus ETC. I got a new M-100 and I get a whole lot better
accuracy
and it connects and gets a fix a lot quicker but while walking
it still
won't stay connected. I am not walking in an area where there
are a
lot of tall buildings and we have more clear skys than in most
areas.
I wear the equipment with the receiver on my right shoulder and
the
mPower on my left hip. Do you have any idea what might be going
on?
