I'm sure if they could do it and be financially viable, they will.
In other words, if the cost of rewriting the code for the Pocket PC
phones is less than what they think they would make from doing it,
you will certainly see it done.
As for Mobile Geo, remember there is already a GPS solution for 3rd
edition phones, so it probably wasn't the first priority to get
Mobile Geo working there as well.

Mobile geo was primarily to be used in combination with mobile speak
for windows pocket pc. So I don't think that was ever on the road
map and it's not really a great fit although of course porting to
more platforms is always better. Wasn't there talk of the KNFB
reader being ported to windows mobile? Seems like an especially
good idea now that 5MP cameras are emerging on pocket pc devices.
