Me too, as I said the more platforms the better. I'd think that FS and the
other note taker manufacturors will be shaking in their boots. Figure it's
less than $300 now to have a dual core consumer ready pocket pc in your hands,
with access!;) Sure braille devices are less impacted but for the voice only
devices, you'd have to be crazy to spend 5 to 10 times as much for outdated
technology. Plus, consumer devices don't look like rectangular blocks with the
design consideration and quality of a brick. Try matching one of these blink
bricks to your outfits or other technology.;)

I would think that it would be a sensible move for the NFB reader.

Mobile geo was primarily to be used in combination with mobile speak for
windows pocket pc. So I don't think that was ever on the road map and it's not
really a great fit although of course porting to more platforms is always
better. Wasn't there talk of the KNFB reader being ported to windows mobile?
Seems like an especially good idea now that 5MP cameras are emerging on pocket
pc devices.

I am disappointed that the Mobile Geo product is not going to be available
for the Symbian 3 platform of phones which the KNFB mobile reader is currently
on.
