Hi Tom,
Sounds like your POI's author name hasn't been set correctly.
Did you try setting your author under functions/settings/general
options/"POI Author Name"?
This is a little different that just going and putting in an author
in the author field when creating a user poi.

I am using mobile geo on the Motorola q9h yes it is a new poi no the card is
not right protected yes I did give it a name. but it would not let me save
it.
