I am seeing a disturbing trend where great products are developed, then
abandoned after several years.it is most unfortunate that there is no robust,
PC-based mapping program. I work in the bus service planning department at a
transit agency, and can't stress enough how much value that software would be
to me in my work. At least I can still use Nearby Explorer to examine an area,
but it is still less comfortable to use than a computer-based program, which
could still be used in my field work. But on a positive note, I like the
direction Goodmaps is going.

Ian,
All development on Sendero PC Maps ceased after 2018. No new maps.
I still use it regularly. There is no tool like it. Certainly some new POIs
are not in it. Streets don’t update as frequently as POIs.
The SF Lighthouse is handling Sendero Maps should anyone need it or have
questions.

Sorry! Is Sendero PC Maps under development as well? The latest version of
