Greetings from Sendero! Thank you to all who participated in our indoor
wayfinding survey, we had a fantastic response. We will be announcing the
winners of the drawing soon.
Here are a couple of announcements.
1. We are now fully up and running on our new server. We hope that
the switch will deliver more reliability and speed. Thank you for your
patience during the transition.
2. Sendero will be presenting Emerging Accessible Indoor Navigation
Technologies at the AER International Orientation and Mobility Conference in
Pittsburgh on July 19.
3. $100 Off The Seeing Eye GPS XT (non-subscription version), one-time
purchase price of $199, continues through the end of the summer conferences.
4. Speaking of the summer conferences, if you have a chance, check out
the ElBraille from Freedom Scientific it is a very portable option for
Sendero Maps and GPS on the go.
5. Sendero PC Maps and GPS users, through a combination of JAWS and
Dragon Dictate, you can now use voice commands. The command list is posted

6. We are now offering a Seeing Eye GPS Instructional PowerPoint. It
is a getting started guide intended for use by individuals who want to learn
the basics of the app. It was originally created for O&M Specialists,
Teachers of the Visually Impaired, Counselors, and other Educators so that
they could help their students learn the app. It is accessible with a
screen reader. It can be downloaded from the Sendero Website at:
