This is the summer before Louie's senior year of high school. His friend says, "I'm riding in a bike race from California to Maryland. Can you use your GPS & be part of our crew?" He gives me the race website with its GPS info. I look at it and there are a bunch of .csv files. It says some GPS devices can import those files, others require the files to be converted to some other format. I send the url to the most amazing Charles LaPierre, Sendero Group's programmer. He says it would be a fairly big programming project and anyhow he's on vacation. Which we totally understand. And then a few hours later, I check my email again. And you guessed it. The amazing Charles has sent another message. He has converted *ALL* of the several thousand points into whatever geek format the Sendero GPS requires.
