We could be doing this all day long, 24/7 fixing map issues and Sendero
would never get ahead. There are thousands of map errors so we can't keep
doing this for everyone. This was something that TeleAtlas reported as
fixed but wasn't until a recent release and only because of this did we
feel
we needed to recompile the maps. Redoing the maps is a HUGE process and
quite frankly something Sendero doesn't get paid for at all. This was
done
as a one-time curtsey. The issue of unnamed parkways in New York was
submitted to TeleAtlas by Sendero and this is all we can do at this time.

Hey, they should make an exception with the new York maps too and fix the
bug with parkways.
I have two more lat/lons that come up unnamed. These two are in New
Jersey
though
First:
Lat 40 degrees, 27 minutes, 13.6140 seconds
Lon 74 degrees, 16 minutes, 23.3340 Seconds
This was taken when I was heading south on the Garden State Parkway.
Second:
Lat 39 degrees, 24 minutes, 15.8280 Seconds
Lon 74 degrees, 31 minutes, 43.2000 seconds
This was taken when I was heading south on the Atlantic City Expressway.
Both spots said heading south on unnamed.
Is this the same bug as the Bronx river parkway and Ocean Parkway in the
New
York maps?

It was brought to our attention last year that some of the address ranges
in
the Seattle Washington area were incorrect. The address range of
2400-2499
doesn't exist but on a number of streets it was included even though no
houses have an address in that range. This caused our address
interpolation
algorithm to incorrectly report the address you were standing in front
of.
Sendero reported this issue back in June of 2010 to TeleAtlas and
TeleAtlas
told Sendero it was fixed in September of 2010, but it seems this issue
wasn't fixed by TeleAtlas until the 2011.03 release. Even though our map
license with TeleAtlas states we only receive yearly updates TeleAtlas
made
and exception and sent Sendero the Washington state map with the address
range fixes for a number of streets in the Seattle area.
I am happy to report after converting this new map the address range
issue
has been fixed. If you plan on using the Washington state maps please go
download the updated version from your account at www.gosendero.com.
Also
updated is the WestCoast regional map which contains the Washington map
as
well.
