Yes all the old User collective POIs which the user didn't specify a
category now get thrown into Bonus.
Under 5.0 when a user adds a new POI it is either user Private or you
specify another category and subcategory for the POI, and when you
specify a category or subcategory other than User Private then it is
User Public by default.
I know its a little confusing. Let me give you an example.
You create a new user POI, if you don't specify anything it goes in
your User category / Private subcategory. You can not create a POI
and put it under the User / Public (because this now means that its
been categorizes to some other category not user/private)
Now you create another user POI, but now you specify that its a
Restaurant / Chinese. So under 5.0 you can search for either that
second POI under User/Public, or Restaurant / Chinese.
The first POI you search for only under User/Private.
Now under 4.2 and earlier we use to have a category user /
subcategory public which users put their pois in. Well this didn't
really tell you guys anything when you saw a user public POI (eg.
"Mikes Place" under user Public, what does that mean? Is it a
restaurant, a friends house or a bar? So this is why we had to move
all old user collective POIs that weren't already in a category other
than user to bonus. Now if a user put a 4.2 collective POI in
Restaurant, we have kept that under 5.0.
