Another feature that would be great is to be able to add a point of interest to
your address book.

Hello all. I like the Seeing Eye GPS app and know that it is just a matter of
time until additional features will be added.

1. I too want to have the intersections spoken at higher speeds. I use
transit and Taxis as well as walking. I currently rely on Blind Square while
riding in a vehicle.

2. I would like to be able to access the Google Transit feed Service in real
time. The Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) has been registered with GT since
the fall of 2010

Question: Is there currently
any IOS program using GPS that will announce transit stops as you walk by them
without you having to manually input the stops?

Another thing that would make the app unique, if it could be done would be the
additional announcements of intersections with traffic lights. This would be
beneficial to visually-impaired visitors. Intersections are now much more
complex so a heads-up especially in cases where there were know APS(s)
Available.

It is my understanding from having spoken with our Acting Traffic Devision
Director that there is a GPS mapping of stop light coordinates. Apparently this
is done in many municipalities to allow for the computerized control of the
traffic lights.

Has Sendero ever explored this possibility?
