Hello Barry, As I have said we will consider having intersections spoken at higher speeds. Sendero already does about 80 GTFS bus stop feeds for our other products, and I have just added the Halifax GTFS feed which included around 2400 bus stops. It is high on our list of features to also allow the Seeing Eye app access to these GTFS bus stops as well. (Here is an example of the POI's name that you would find with Sendero GPS on a BrailleNote with PC Maps, or on Sense Nav... " 66, 10, 72, 54. Tacoma Dr before Valleyfiled, HMT") As for intersections that have traffic lights, this has been on Sendero's radar for a number of years, we just haven't been able to find a company that has this data that is willing to give it to us so that we could make it accessible through our products. The map companies don't yet have this data, hopefully they will add this data to their dataset in such a way that we can access it and then offer it as well to our users. Thanks. I like the Seeing Eye GPS app and know that it is just a matter of time until additional features will be added. 1. I too want to have the intersections spoken at higher speeds. I use transit and Taxis as well as walking. I currently rely on Blind Square while riding in a vehicle. 2. I would like to be able to access the Google Transit feed Service in real time. The Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) has been registered with GT since the fall of 2010 Question: Is there currently any IOS program using GPS that will announce transit stops as you walk by them without you having to manually input the stops? Another thing that would make the app unique, if it could be done would be the additional announcements of intersections with traffic lights. This would be beneficial to visually-impaired visitors. Intersections are now much more complex so a heads-up especially in cases where there were know APS(s) Available. It is my understanding from having spoken with our Acting Traffic Devision Director that there is a GPS mapping of stop light coordinates. Apparently this is done in many municipalities to allow for the computerized control of the traffic lights. Has Sendero ever explored this possibility?
