There is in fact a way to add user points in Foursquare, which will then
show up in the Seeing Eye GPS app assuming you have the default Foursquare
POIs selected.

I thought you could add points via Blindsquare. Either I am confused or this
feature was pulled from API users.

In any event, here is how to add a point.

Launch Foursquare directly, not from Blindsquare. From the home screen,
choose Check In and then search for the point you wish to add. Do not use
Browse. If the point exists, you can modify the location should it be
incorrect. Unless it is within 30 or 40 yards, you have to move the location
visually on a map. We had a new deli open up yesterday here in Davis and its
address was half a mile off based on geocoding. I had to have my son fix
this with the visual tools in Foursquare. Once it was within 22 yards, I was
able to refine the location even better with the option in Blindsquare.

The process is pretty much the same if you want to add a point. If it is not
found, there is an Add heading right below the text field at the top of the
screen. The actual add button is not labeled but it is immediately after the
Add heading.

You will be prompted for a category, which you must enter. There is then
some confusing location items where the map is shown but you can just click
add and your location will be used. You do not have to drop a map pin
visually. Then go back into Blindsquare and set correct location if it is
still a bit off.

I hope we will be able to add connections directly from within the Seeing
Eye GPS app for adding points but this is your best bet for now. It is
pretty easy once you get used to it.
