Mike, currently it is not possible to add Foursquare places with
BlindSquare. You may have noticed that I just added lot of additional
Foursquare support to BlindSquare (specials, reading and giving tips,
suggestions and better search). But yes, you still need Foursquare app for
adding new places. The reason it is not yet in BlindSquare is that it will
need possibility to browse and select all categories. There is only
category search tool, not browser in the app, so it takes several days to
implement that feature. Let's see, if we get that in near future to help
adding Foursquare places also with BlindSquare.

It is good to know that currently when you redefine coordinates for place
in BlindSquare, it sets it only for you (and to all your other devices via
iCloud). It doesn't sent them back to Foursquare. When I add possibility to
add places, I might give possibility to report new coordinates to
Foursquare too.

Terrell, Foursquare is not open source, but their API is open and free to
use.
