Hi Gavin,
Glad you are enjoying 2011. Yes you will need to download the maps again in
order to get the City POIs. Sorry about that, I received the wrong
information then never followed up myself to confirm until it was pointed
out by our users. That won't happen next year ;)

Enjoy

Subject: [gps-talkusers] e: New POIs for all countries

 Hi Charles
I live here in UK, I have upgraded to 2011, do I also need to
download the maps again to get the new city rmf poi's? by the way
I'm very pleased with 2011 upgrade, on a recent car journey for
my work as a Piano Tuner, with my support worker we had to use
motorways and I found the increased information regarding exit
ramps and also the directions at roundabouts was much clearer and
safer, well done.
I like the side-of-street tracking in vertual mode, it helps me
visualise an area (I was partially sighted but have been total
for 40 years) but still like to be able to visualise an
environment.

Regarding SMA's I seem to recall paying £95 for the 2010 upgrade,
I have just paid Humanware £220 for 2011 for three upgrades, I
was never top at school with maths but that seems like a good
deal? I always think it's better to--
"take a breath, engage brain, open mouth" it can make one feel so
much less of a nincompoop!?
Kind regards Gavin Atkins,

Subject: [gps-talkusers] New POIs for all countries

Hello everyone,

Today Sendero uploaded new embedded Map RMF POIs for all
countries. I have
also had to redo the North American POIs as well as NZ and
Australia due to
an ID conflict. All new POIs have been uploaded to the website.

These new POIs have City Centers that was missing from the
original set of
POIs. In all countries except USA and Canada the additional POIs
are in the
map zip file itself. For the USA and Canada they are in the
files
0_USA_RMF_POIS.zip
Canada__RMF_POIS.zip

Enjoy
