Hi,
when you restore the gps to factory defaults you won't lose any data,
if you have custom settings such as lookaround mode turned off you'd
need to turn that back on.

here is what you do.
go to the gps option menu then hit r and that will put you at the restore
defaults and then try again to pair it up if you have any more questions
