hello chris,
thanks for the response, as for the first question I tried the reset and no luck I guess I will most likely go back to 5.03 it seemed like it was a lot better with gps also I noticed on 6.2 the milage is off some times it doubles in mileage another thing on the pois theese are comming from the extra user pois on the download section so what you are saying is to put each poi in to the indivual folder? thanks again

using the maps folder the extra user pois go there.  If you are using
the westcoast folder the user pois go there.

and say I cross a freeway intersecting a street to continue down that same street what happens to me is that the street does not continue for me it loops back on me and I guess it gets stuck cause I find myself just around the freeway area. 


This is a known issue.  You can try a reset.

hope I can get that working how does that work once installed?
does it read you the menus, is it really a good thing, would love to hear experiences 
on that I hope I got my folders correct on this I have Canada and us



There are no restaurant menus included with the product This is just a
situation where you might use media POIs.
