Hey everyone, ok, here are my suggestions for the seeing eye app, while I'm not saying it should work exactly like nearby explorer, I think some features from that app should be added. First, I'm not sure if this is by design, but, the seeing eye app announces that you are at a street when you are still around 100 feet from the corner, I think this should be changed so this is announced when you get a bit closer. If you have your screen on, the distance to the next street is displayed, and as you get closer, this distance decreases, this should be automatically spoken when the screen is off, currently it just announces the street when you get close, but things such as main street 400 feet ahead, main street 250 feet ahead should be spoken automatically, you should not have to touch the screen to obtain this information. Another feature I would like to see is, when you change direction, this should automatically be spoken. Again, this is displayed on the screen, but there is no way to automatically speak this when the screen is off. One last suggestion, regarding addresses, separate the address number and street in to 2 separate items, and provide options to automatically speak these as they change when the screen is off. If the sendero developers have access to an android device, which I'm sure they do, the automatic speech that nearby explorer provides should also be provided by the seeing eye app.
