Hello Mike,

In any long excursion where I may be uncertain as to when I would be able to
charge my iPhone, I would prefer to save the phone for communication
purposes rather than GPS navigation.

I do love my Trekker Breeze and would recommend it to anyone who, like me,
does not like putting all of her/his proverbial satellites in one orbit, so
to speak (smile).

Now, were one able to switch out the iPhone battery as one can do with
Android and Windows Mobile devices? Then I might consider retiring my Breeze
with the exception that the Breeze does not need to be connected to the
Internet in order to function properly, as Dale so precisely points out.

The good thing is that there is room enough for every device on the market.

Mark

I would think, since there are good gps apps for both of the major smart
phone platforms, there would be no reason to go with a treker breeze, not to
mention the expensive price.

though it would have more current points of interest than say Trekker due to
the customer base on FourSquare.
