I have looked on the compact flash card and there is a maps folder but I 
don't see the titles of the maps that are in there.  I was assuming that the 
two maps might be both Missouri, in two halves.  I am not yet successful at 
setting addresses as destinations.

If you have both MO and KS in the maps folder, then those are the two maps 
being loaded. You should be
 able to go across the stateline seamlessly. When you are in Kansas, press C 
to confirm you are seeing the city and state or set an address in Kansas at 
any time to make sure the maps are properly in the maps folder.
