I created a few windows in one desktop.
I created a horizontally split terminal.
Next I opened a chrome window.
Then I split the chrome window vertically with another chrome, and stacked
the two of them.
Next I split the terminal vertically with an IntelliJ window, and stack the
two of them.
Finally, I split the terminal horizontally with another terminal, and split
the right one vertically.
This leaves the left half of my monitor as three terminals or IntelliJ,
that I can swap between with $mod + up/down and the right half as one of
two chrome windows that I switch between the same way.
However, on the left side, I see these extra title bars that say something
like:
"i3 H[gnome-terminal-server V[gnome-terminal-server]]"
Sometimes, I get a second title bar with similar text that goes across the
entire screen (depending on the order in which I open things).
I'm guessing these have something to do with the horizontal and vertical
splits I use to create new windows. Is there a way to hide them?
