I don’t exactly know why one would want to know the speed of the CPU. You
probably already know the maximum speed and the ondemand-scheduler (which is
what everybody should use) automatically adjusts the speed so that the CPU will
use as little power as possible.
So, what exactly is the useful information you get out of your current CPU
speed?
