Here is an example:
I have predefined:
workspace_layout tabbed
in my i3 configuration. Now if I press e.g. Mod+V to switch to vertical
split it always opens 'another container' (unless I focus parent before).
If I have not predefined any workspace_layout, it just splits without
creating 'another container' (and without having the need to focus
parent, too).
What exactly is the difference here?
