No, and it is not planned to implement that. dzen2 works quite well for
displaying a bar, so we do not need to duplicate that functionality. It is
planned to switch to a completely dzen2-based bar for the next version,
given that dzen2 is ready for that (there has not been a release for quite
a long time).
